OMMA Mission

OUR VISION: This picture was taken a few years ago for the 25th anniversary of United Studios of Self Defense, which is the martial arts organization from which I earned my ranking and teaching credentials many years ago. You can see about 100 Black Belt instructors pictured here! Along with this picture in a recent edition of “Black Belt Magazine” was the caption that said, in essence: “Over 1 million lives impacted in our first 25 years.”
Although I am no longer connected with this organization, when I saw that picture and caption, I had a vision of a time, perhaps 25 years from now, when we can boldly proclaim that over 1 million lives have been touched and changed, in the Name of Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit to the glory of God, through the impact of On Mission Martial Arts.
We have a long way to go in growing up our current and upcoming OMMA Instructors and other leaders. We have a long way to go in developing new locations, growing our spiritual curriculum and expanding our service and mission opportunities. However, we have already seen the Lord do such exciting things as He works, according to His good pleasure, IN, THRU and FROM the world of martial arts.
