1500 Blessing Bag Project – May 2019
We will be seeking to prepare 1,500+ snack packages for our local homeless community in support of Word on the Street Homeless Ministries.
This year OMMA will again be partnering with Avalon Church the Avalon Park Foundation and others!
If you feel led to supply any of the items below to help fill the snack packs for our area homeless men, women and children, please bring them to OMMA. We hope to collect enough items for at least 1,500 of them.
Snack Bag Items needed:
Packages of Cheese Crackers (Austin brand), Packages of Peanut Butter Crackers (Austin brand), Mixed Fruit cups, Chewy Granola Bars, Chocolate Pudding cups , Small Vienna Sausages (pop-top), Tuna Fish pouches, Juice pouch drinks (Aldi’s brand work best)
PLEASE, NO CHOCOLATE, GUMMY CANDIES or other items that can melt or are too hard (peanuts).
Cash Donation:
If you’d like to make a tax-deductible contribution to the project, we will allocate 100% of your donation to items needed for the snack packs.
