On Mission Martial Arts – Ministry Presentation
The fields are ripe for the Harvest:

Martial Arts is a Mission Field!
The Martial Arts impact MILLIONS of people around the world and it is dominated by both Eastern and Secular Humanist worldviews.
More than 3.4 Million people currently train in the Martial Arts in the United States (https://www.statista.com), and many, many Millions more worldwide. When you add in those who encounter the Martial Arts in Movies, TV Shows, Video Games and the like, a high percentage of people are influenced by the world of Martial Arts.

Our VISION:
“To offer a Christian alternative WITHIN the world of Martial Arts; to make much of Christ THROUGH the world of Martial Arts to our students and families; and to mobilize our OMMA Community to bring the Gospel FROM the world of Martial Arts to those who need it.
To grow to 100+ OMMA Studios by the year 2038, by that time having impacted ONE MILLION people for Christ through our programs, classes, leadership development, partnerships, outreaches, missions and community.”
Our Methods

* By providing Biblical Leadership training for children, teens and adults.
* By incorporating our “On Mission Spiritual Fitness (OMSF)” curriculum as a part of our Belt advancement.
* By keeping training costs affordable, so money is not a hinderance to people joining our community.
* By offering Scholarships via our OMMA Scholarship Fund to under-resourced in our areas.
* By facilitating OMMA Service Projects to encourage service and impacting many worldwide.
* By partnering with and resourcing Christian martial artists around the world.
* By mobilizing our OMMA community (students & families) to engage in Missions.
* By fostering an attitude of “Peace over Power,” rather than glorifying violence.

STEWARDSHIP
OMMA is a federally recognized 501(c)(3), not-for-profit, religious and charitable organization. We rely on a combination of revenues from our paying martial arts students, as well as contributions from individuals, families, churches, businesses and others who feel led to partner with us in this Mission!
We would love to answer ANY questions our ministry partners or potential ministry partners may have about how our funds are utilized. Our Board of Directors determines how our financial resources will be best utilized to advance the Cause of Christ in the world of Martial Arts.

GROWTH MODEL
The Method we are using to accomplish our Vision of 100 Christ-centered Dojos by 2038, is the 3-Dojo Cluster. We plan to build “clusters” of 3 OMMA Dojos in a small geographic area which will create a synergy, working together to promote one another and support one anothers efforts in that region. Each Dojo will be led by a Chief Instructor, and the 3-Dojo cluster will be overseen by a Senior Instructor.
Then, the 3-Dojo cluster will be duplicated two more times in the broader geographic area to create an eventual 9-Dojo cluster in an area that might be as large as an entire state. The 9-Dojo cluster will be overseen by a Master Instructor.
By duplicating the 9-Dojo cluster 10 more times, OMMA will have 99 Dojos nationally. When you add our National Headquarters location, that will give us the 100 Dojo locations!
