17 Oct Service Outreaches
The final component of the On Mission Martial Arts program is taking progressive and intentional steps to become an “On Misson Christian.”
We do this by stepping out of our comfort zone in serving others in our community, city, country and the world by helping meet physical, emotional and spiritual needs in the name of Jesus Christ.
Students will become more Aware of needs and opportunities to be a vessel of God’s love through words and deeds, will become further Equipped to minister to people, and will be gently encouraged to get more Engaged.
Aware, Equipped, Engaged – an On Mission Christian on the way to becoming an On Mission Black Belt!

First OMMA Parachute ever made!
By God’s grace and with the loving service and giving of so many friends and partners, since our very first Project in 2009, the OMMA community has completed the following at our Group Outreach Projects:
1,872 Snack bags with notes of encouragement to our local homeless community in support of Word on the Street Ministry (WOTS)
767 Letters of encouragement to imprisoned and persecuted brothers & sisters in Christ worldwide in support of the Voice of the Martyrs ministry (VOM)
585 Mini-parachutes used to drop Bibles & other Christian materials into the jungles of Columbia in support of the Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) parachute project.
1,500 Pocket Flags with encouraging notes in support of our U.S. Armed Forces through the Pocket Flag Project
110 Special gift bags in support of Weeks of Hope Missions
631 Operation Christmas Child gift shoe boxes for children around the world through Samaritan’s Purse.
1,934 Hygiene kits with encouraging notes for Haiti in support of Haiti Mission trips through Catalyst Coach Ministry (1,259 complete and 675 partial)
I am excited to have been a part of all this, and as OMMA expands to a second and, Lord willing, third location in the near future, I look forward to see how our impact just in this one small area continues to blossom!
Thank you so much for being a part of this journey with us! Please pray for our next project, November 7th, 2014 at Avalon Church.
To God be all the glory,
Marco
