I am SO excited about all of the opportunities the Lord is putting before us at OMMA and all the neat things we are watching Him do in and through this great community of Martial Artists, Instructors, Leaders, Prayer partners, Financial Partners and more. What a privilege to be a part of it!

We have a HUGE Mission here at OMMA…definitely much, much bigger than me or even the team that we currently have. I look forward to seeing those He will be raising up to carry the banner of Christ in the world of Martial Arts with us in the months and years to come!

Right now, the biggest obstacle to us taking the next step in our 30 year, 20 Phase plan for growth is “Instructor Capacity!” It takes a long time to raise up the qualified, high-ranking Martial Arts Black Belts who have the teaching, leadership and ministry skills to join OMMA as a Full-Time Instructor. Additionally, our funding model requires our Full-Time staff to raise a portion of their own support through a team of ministry partners.

John Allen, and his wife of just over one year, Hannah, moved down to Orlando from Illinois (where he had been co-leading our OMMA in Zion, Illinois, with his brother William), to join OMMA as our next Full-Time Instructor. For us to bring him on full-time John is developing a team of ministry partners who will support him in this function as an OMMA leader. John has been working other jobs over the past year or so, besides working part-time with us here at OMMA and Hannah is a full-time teacher at a local Christian school.

We can “kill two birds with one stone,” so to speak, by helping John get a foundation for his future ministry partner team. The goal is to help John raise $750/month ($9,000/annually) in financial support in the next 60 days. This would allow him to go ALL-IN with OMMA as a Full-Time Instructor. In addition to being a blessing to the Allen’s, this also helps OMMA significantly increase our chances of opening our 3rd OMMA Dojo in Central Florida as soon as possible!
